Statutory inspections and the buildings they cover
What we do
Every statutory inspection a school building needs, on a schedule we keep so you do not have to, with the certificate filed against your site record the day it is issued.
- Fixed wire testing, portable appliance testing and emergency lighting
- Gas safety, legionella risk assessment and water temperature monitoring
- Asbestos management survey and annual re-inspection
- Fire risk assessment, and playground equipment inspection
If you do nothing
These are duties on the governing body, not on the council, and the first question after an incident is always for the paperwork. A missed inspection is rarely discovered by the school; it is discovered by an insurer.
